Re: beam ratios: silver vs. polymer vs. DCG
"Zhao and Mouroulis [20] as well as Noiret et al. [21] for the first time described in 1994 the holographic recording mechanism in dry photopolymers by the model of photo-polymerization driven diffusion (PDD). In this PDD model the local monomer consumption rate was set proportional to the loc...

Re: RGB tests with HX200 photopolymer
Good finding, thanks, I hope work well in small areas.jrburns47 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 10:53 am Here’s a link to what BobH uses with pricing! Doesn’t include air/gas supply.

Maybe a good technique to include in a photopolymer manual.

Kodak used 4 x 5 in plates at 1mm THK.
Agfa used more, 2mm, perhaps

Re: Silver halide sensitivityy enhancer
Formate ions are inserted onto AgBr crystals on formation. The formate absorbs the hole (+) formed after photon exposure. This electron - hole pair is formed after the sensitizing dye absorbs the photon energy and transfers it to the crystal. After "absorbing" the hole the formate forms a r...

Re: Zilux Photopolymer ...
Congratulations!
Very good result. The exposure is slow however, this is a thing to research. The most difficult thing is to achieve a high efficient master, maybe a DCG, SHSG or even on a pixelated digital image, the last one is the ideal for contact copy, but is very, very rare.
